What Happens After I Apply?

After the closing date, your application will be sent to the department or affiliated company hiring for the position.   For some positions, qualified candidates who are already working with or have been referred by CMC, will be given preference.  

The Recruitment Officer or Supervisor will contact those candidates he/she wishes to interview and schedule the interviews.   Generally, you will be contacted within two weeks of the closing date for the competition if you are to be interviewed.   If you are called for an interview, please ensure you get the name and phone number of the contact person.

Successful candidates will be notified once the selection process is completed.   We cannot write to everyone who applies to every job; however, online applicants and those applicants who are currently on staff at CMC will be notified of the status of their applications.
