OUR PHILOSOPHY:

Kids at Home believes that children are our future, and that concern for their welfare should be the most important criteria. Our philosophy emphasizes the need for young children to access high-quality care, guidance, and structure in an environment that results in the physical, social, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, and cultural well-being of each child in our care.

Our educators, administrative staff, and advisory board members have a wealth of experience in all forms of Early Childhood Care and Educational practices. Some are seasoned working practitioners with a range of backgrounds, and thus, bring the depth of their experience to our partnership with parents. Everyone at Kids At Home has a commitment to helping our clients make the most of their investment by enroling their children in one of our high quality programs.

As we continue to strive for excellence, Kids at Home continues to develop care-givers and teachers who are flexible, open-minded, knowledge-able, and skilled in their approach to young children--workers who have acquired values that impact upon their lives in such a way, that they are motivated to impart a sense of values to the children we serve.

Our caregivers and teachers provide age-appropriate practices, putting the children at the centre of the care and educational process. Additionally, they aid the parents in making that stressful, transition to formal schooling a positive experience.

To foster our vision, Kids At Home continues to seek approaches that enable us to consistently provide an environment of high-quality care, academic freedom, mutual trust, and support. On-going, professional development is mandatory for all associates.
As we continues this journey, we find it imperative to seek parental interests and input into the children’s total development. We all have so much to learn from children, and hope that parents will share all the delights they see and experience as their children grow and develop.
