Jeremiah
  1. "The sin of Judah is written with a pen of iron.  With the point of a diamond it is engraved on the tablet of their heart, and on the horns of your altars,  (Jer. 2:22;   Job 19:24;   2 Cor. 3:3)

  7. "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, (Is. 30:18) and whose hope is the Lord.  (Ps. 71:5;   Ps. 146:5)    ( PASS ON TO A FRIEND)
  8. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river (Ps. 1:3), and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit.  (Job 20:17)
  9. "The heart is deceitful above all things (Eccl. 9:3), and desperately wicked; who can know it?
  10. I, the Lord, search the heart (Rev. 2:23), I test the mind, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.  (Prov. 17:3;   Rom. 2:6)
  11. "As a partridge that broods but does not hatch, so is he who gets riches, but not by right; it will leave him in the midst of his days, and at his end he will be a fool."  (Ps. 55:23;   Luke 12:20)
  12. A glorious high throne from the beginning is the place of our sanctuary.
  13. O Lord, the hope of Israel, all who forsake You shall be ashamed. (Is. 1:28;   Jer. 14:8) "Those who depart from Me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the Lord, the fountain of living waters."  (Ps. 71:5;   Jer. 2:13;   Luke 10:20)
  14. Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for You are my praise.
  15. Do not be a terror to me; You are my hope in the day of doom.  (Ps. 71:5;   Jer. 16:19)
  16. Thus the Lord said to me:  "Go and stand in the gate of the children of the people, by which the kings of Judah come in and by which they go out, and in all the gates of Jerusalem;  (Jer. 7:2)
  17. " and say to them, Hear the word of the Lord, you kings of Judah, and all Judah, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, who enter by these gates.  (Jer. 19:3&4)
  18. 'Thus says the Lord:  "Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the Sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem;  (Neh. 13:19)
  19. "nor carry a burden out of your houses on the Sabbath day, nor do any work, but hallow the Sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers.  (Ex. 20:8;   Ex. 31:13;   John 5:10)
