Genesis 37



  1. Now Jacob dwelt in the land where his father was a stranger, in the land of Canaan.  (Gen. 17:8;   Gen. 23:4;   Gen. 28:4)
  2. Then Reuben returned to the pit, and indeed Joseph was not in the pit; and he tore his clothes.  (Job 1:20)
  3. Then Jacob tore his clothes, put sackcloth on his waist, and mourned for his son many days.  (Job 1:20)
