Chapter 13
- Let every soul be subject to the
governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God,
and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. (Prov. 3:15; John 19:11; 1 Pet. 2:13)

- And do this, knowing the time, that now
it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer
than when we first believed. (1 Cor. 15:34; Heb 10:25)
- The night is far spent, the day is at
hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us
put on the armour of light.
- Let us walk properly, as in the day, not
in revelry and drunkenness, not in licentiousness and lewdness, not in
strife and envy. (Prov.
23:20; Phil. 4:8; James
3:14)
- But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and
make no provision for the flesh, to fulfil its lusts. ( PASS
