Isaiah 45

  1. Thus says the Lord to His anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held - -  (Is. 44:28)  to subdue nations before him and loose the armour of kings, to open before him the double doors,  (Dan. 5:30;   Job 12:21)  so that the gates will not be shut:
  2. I will go before you and make the crooked places straight;  (Is. 40:4)  I will break in pieces the gates of bronze  (Ps. 107:16)  and cut the bars of iron.
  3. I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the Lord,  (Is. 41:23)  who call you by your name, am the God of Israel.  (Ex. 33:12)
  4. "Woe to him who strives with his Maker!  Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth.  Shall the clay say to him who forms it, 'What are you making?'  Or shall your handiwork say, 'He has no hands?'  (Job 9:12;   Job 9:32;   Job 21:22;   Job 33:13;   Jer. 18:6)
  5. Thus says the Lord:”The labour of Egypt and merchandise of Cush and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over to you, and they shall be yours; they shall walk behind you, they shall come over in chains; and they shall bow down to you.  (Ps. 149:8;   Zech. 8:22-23)  They will make supplication to you, saying, ‘Surely God is in you,  (1 Cor. 14:25)  and there is no other;  (Is. 45:5)  there is no other God.’”  (Ps. 68:31)
  6. Truly You are God, who hide Yourself,  (Ps. 44:24)  O God of Israel, the Saviour!
