A Psalm of David.
- The
earth is the Lord's, and all
its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein. (Job 41:11; 1 Cor. 10:26-28)
- For He has founded it upon the
seas, and established it upon the waters. (Gen. 1:9; Job 26:7; Ps. 89:11)
- Who may ascend into the hill of the
Lord? Or who may stand in his holy place? (Ps. 15:1-5)
- He who has clean hands and a pure
heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, (Job 17:9) nor sworn
deceitfully. (Ps. 15:4)
- He shall receive blessing from the
Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. (Ps. 15:1)
- This is Jacob, the generation of
those who seek Him, (Ps. 27:4;
Ps. 27:8) who seek
YOur face. Selah
- Lift up your heads, O you
gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the
King of glory shall come in. (Is.
26:2; Ps. 29:2;
Ps. 29:9; Ps. 97:6)
- Who is this King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle.
- Lift up your heads, O you
gates! And lift them up, you everlasting doors! And the
King of glory shall come in.
- Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah
