- He who dwells in the secret place
of the
Most High
shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. (Ps. 27:5)
- I will say of the Lord, "He is my
refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust." (Ps. 18:32; Ps. 73:28; Ps. 142:5) ( PASS
ON TO A FRIEND)
- Surely He shall deliver you from
the snare of the fowler (Ps. 124:7)
and from the perilous pestilence. (Job 5:19)
- He shall cover you with His
feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; (Ps. 17:8; Ps. 36:7) His truth shall be your
shield and buckler.
- You shall not be afraid of the
terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, (Job 5:19; Prov. 3:25)
- Nor of the pestilence that walks in
darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
-
-
- Because you have made the Lord, who
is my refuge, even the Most High, your habitation,
- No evil shall befall you, nor
shall any plague come near your dwelling; (Job 5:19)
- For He shall give His angels
charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. (Prov.
4:12; Heb. 1:14)
- They shall bear you up in their
hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone. (Job 5:23; Matt. 4:6)
-
- Because He has set His love upon
me, therefore I will deliver Him; I will set Him on high, because He
has known My name. (Ps. 9:10; Ps. 22:8)
- He shall call upon Me, and I will
answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and
honour him. (Job 12:4;
Ps. 50:15; Is. 43:2)
