Psalm

1. Truly my soul silently waits for God (Ps. 33:20); from Him comes my salvation.
2. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.  (Ps. 55:22)
3. How long will you attack a man?  You shall be slain, all of you, like a leaning wall and a tottering fence.  (Is. 30:13)
4. They only consult to cast him down from his high position; they delight in lies; they bless with their mouth,  (Ps. 28:3)  but they curse inwardly.
7. In God is my salvation and my glory; (Jer. 3:23) the rock of my strength, and my refuge; is in God.  (Ps. 27:1)
8. Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your heart before Him;  (1 Sam. 11:15)  God is a refuge for us.  (Ps. 4:5;   Ps. 46:1)  Selah
9. Surely men of low degree are a vapour,  (Is. 40:17)  men of high degree are a lie; if they are weighed in the balances, they are altogether lighter than vapour.    (PASS ON TO A FRIEND)
10. Do not trust in oppression, nor vainly hope in robbery, if riches increase, do not set your heat on them.  (Job 31:25;   Luke 12:15)
11. God has spoken once, twice I have heard this:  that power belongs to God.  (Job 33:14)
12. Also to You, O Lord, belongs mercy; for you render to each one according to his work.  (Job 34:11;   Prov. 24:12;   Matt. 16:27)
