- Rejoice
in the Lord, O you righteous!
(Ps. 32:11;
Ps. 97:12)
For praise from the upright is beautiful.
- Praise the Lord with the harp; make
melody to Him with an instrument of ten strings.
- Sing to Him a new song; play
skilfully with a shout of joy. (Ps. 40:3; Ps. 144:9; Ps. 149:1)
- For the word of the Lord is right,
and all His work is done in truth.
- He loves righteousness and justice;
the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. (Ps. 11:7; Ps. 119:64)
- By the
word of the Lord the heavens were made,
and
all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. (Gen. 2:1; Job 26:13)
- He gathers the waters o the sea
together as a heap; He lays up the deep in storehouses. (Job 26:10; Job 38:8)
- Let all the earth fear the Lord;
let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.
- For He spoke, and it was done;
He commanded and it stood fast. (Gen. 1:3; Luke 5:5)
- The Lord brings the counsel
of the nations to nothing; (Is. 8:10; Is. 19:3) He makes
the plans of the peoples of no effect.
- The counsel of the Lord stands
forever, the plans of His heart to all generations. (Job 23:13)
- Blessed is the nation whose God is
the Lord, and the people whom He has chosen as His own
inheritance. (Ex. 19:5; Ps. 65:4)
- The Lord looks from heaven; (Job 28:24; Ps. 14:2) He sees all
the sons of men.
- From the place of His habitation
He looks on all the inhabitants of the earth; (Ps. 14:2)
- He fashions their hearts
individually; He considers all their works. (Jer. 32:19; Hebrews 4:13)
- No king is saved by the multitude
of an army; a mighty man is not delivered by great strength. (Ps. 44:6; Ps. 60:11; Ps. 108:12)
- A horse is a vain hope for
safety; (Prov.
21:31)
neither shall it deliver any by its great strength. (Ps. 20:7)
- Behold, they eye of the Lord is on
those who fear Him, on those who hope in His mercy, (Job 36:7; Ps. 11:4) ( PASS
ON TO A FRIEND)
- To deliver their soul from death,
and to keep them alive in famine. (Job 5:20)
- Our soul waits for the Lord; He is
our help and our shield. (Ps. 62:1)
- For our heart shall rejoice in
Him, Because we have trusted in His holy name.
- Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon
us, Just as we hope in You.
